Any card that can be used in ATM to withdraw cash is called ATM card. Therefore, Janata Bank Debit card is also an ATM card as it can be used to withdraw cash from an ATM. Further, Janata Bank Debit Card can be used in e-commerce sites as well as for payment through POS. How can I get Visa Debit Card? You need to have a saving account with Janata Bank and should submit the application to get Visa Debit Card at nearest branch of the bank. Is there any charges for getting Debit card ? Yes, you have to pay a charge of NPR 500 for a two years validity card and NPR 1,000 for a five years validity card. How long does it take to get the card? Depending upon your location, it might take 3 days to two weeks from the date of application to get the card in your hands. What is CVV number? The CVV number is a three digit code printed on the reverse side of the card. This value is required as a form of authentication for online transactions. How can I change my PIN? You can change the Pin of your debit card through ATM of Janata Bank simply choosing the option PIN change. My Debit Card is going to expire soon, should I apply for new card? We do have practice to renew debit card automatically, for this you should have sufficient balance in your account for applicable charges of new card.
